Announcement:

Please, for those of you who haven't, start bringing in your Six Flags money.  I will post names of those who still owe next Monday.  $63.00 for those without season passes, $38.00 for those with season passes.  We need this for each student and chaperone.

May 7th began our Healthy Steps Program.  Walk and record how far you've gone and the class who has walked the most will win a healthy treat.  Don't forget, your family can participate and record toward your class totals too.  See sheets brought home.

We are so thrilled that the kids who can are taking the healthy choice to bike to school.  Please go over the new biking rules brought home today and remember bikers can record half their distance on their Healthy Steps sheet.

This is an invitation for a fundraising event being held in Orenda to help with Lucas Romano's (currently at Koda student) medical costs.  He has had an extended and extreme struggle against cancer.   Despite extensive treatments (chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant), Luke has not yet won his battle.  It has been four years since the original diagnosis. 
On June 2nd, a staff representative for Southern Living will be in Orenda from 2:30 to 7pm. Please stop by anytime to shop for wedding gfits, holiday gifts..or a self-reward for finishing the school year! 
The entire commission will be donated to the Lucas Romano Fund. The Southern Living catalog is online if you would like a preview. If you have any questions, please contact the Orenda office.
